Violence In France

Many of us, followed the events of violence which took place in France, recently.In a matter of minutes, every possible emotion ran through our bodies, with the scenes shown, the unexpected became a reality.
This type of uproar, has previously occurred, but not with such intensity. But why?
The youths, are descendants of immigrants, who came to France to work, fulfilling the jobs, the French didn't want to do, at this era. Even now they have this label tagged to their neighbourhoods.
To get a job, have access to public facilities, etc.It is always a closed door. Not being hired,because a business owner, is scared to lose their clients, if they realise that their company has hired an employee , who has a dark complexion.
A poor excuse among many.
After all these years of repression, rejection, insults.The bucket received a drop too many.
With the remarks of the Internal Affairs Minister, Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy....., " get rid of the society's lowlife," the debate became a personal and national priority. The reaction within the political parties in opposition and from the public was one of shock and consternation.
Hence forth, theclashes between the police squads and youths in the perspective districts were very aggressive.
But what is the real problem?
France, being an European country, wants its immigrants, foreign workers who stay by marraige or personal reasons to become a "French citizen", to be integrated into the society, an European country who can proclaim to be multiracial,multicultural.
The model has failed , for more than 50 years, solutions have been implemented , but it's not enough, a contact more relational and physical is needed.
In the western region, Brittany, the violences were limited. A cohesion of the Regional Council, associations and inter-related organisations: financial, social, psychological support organised allows the population in these didtricts to be heard, with programs suited to their needs.
Another explication, the percentage of immigrants in this region is inferior to the statistics in other regions like Paris, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille.
We are hoping that 50 years don't pass by before a real and pratical solution is found to end this conflict once and for all.
